Statement of Faith
We believe that God is eternal, without beginning and without end, the Creator of all things, yet Himself uncreated. He exists eternally in three persons God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe that God is omnipotent all powerful, that God is omnipresent everywhere present at all times, and omniscient all knowing.
We believe that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God, that He was born of a virgin, lived among us as a man, was tempted in every way as we are, yet without sin. We believe that He died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and was raised from the dead by the power of God's Holy Spirit. We believe that He is the only Savior and that there is no other means to eternal salvation.
We believe that every person is created in the image of God, but that every person has marred that divine image through sinful disobedience, thus breaking his relationship with God. Thankfully, God's grace is greater than our sin. Through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ, His sinless life, His sacrificial death, and His glorious resurrection our sins are forgiven and our relationship with God is restored. We believe that the security of our salvation rests not on what we do for God, but on what he has done for us through Jesus Christ.
We believe that baptism in the Holy Spirit is promised to every believer, that it is a separate and distinct experience from salvation, and that the initial physical evidence is speaking in tongues as the Holy Spirit enables us.
We believe that the gifts of the Spirit are operating in the Church today to empower us to do the work of ministry and establish the Kingdom of God.
We believe in the rapture of the Church and the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God.
